Down in Arizona it’s so easy to find locals that make tortillas from scratch and you can buy them without the plastic bags! Supports the locals & they literally are the tastiest things ever

Hannah Erin says:

YESSSS I'm working on bettering my sustainability in every part of my life so I love whenever I see these videos come up <3
Also for lip balm, I just carry around a tiny jar of coconut oil in my bag. Its cold enough to stay solid where I live, but even if it melts it's safe in the jar and works amazingly well for my chapped lips 🙂

jennifer michelle says:

more of these videos PLEASEEE educate me sis

olivia says:

Would you ever consider making CBD/THC infused lotions? Maybe a sustainable DIY for your side channel? 😉 Also, I'm currently a week into a social media detox and was definitely inspired by one of your recent videos. I've learned so much about sustainability from you and it's something I'm super excited about. I think it's important to remember that you don't have to do a complete life overhaul, and the small changes really add up! We are all trying to do our best. Keep on rockin!

Grace Mansen says:

my lip balm recipe!!

4 tsp beeswax pellets
3tsp coconut oil
1tsp honey (optional)
3tsp sunflower seed oil
5-7 drops peppermint oil
double boil and whisk together.
you can also add a lil bit more sunflower oil if you want the balm to be softer.

Maddie Carpenter says:

My friend used trashisfortosser's recipe, so that's the one I used too when I made the switch. You can google it, but it's 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, and 15-20 drops of peppermint essential oil (or whatever your preference is). I sometimes do 10 spearmint and 10 peppermint. I have absolutely loved it thus far.

Frederique Menard says:

I mean for lip balm i guess you could buy GIANT jars of vaseline or coconut oil in the meantime to reduce packaging of repeated purchase of small items… love your videos!!

Do what you want Meg, we trust you with the content. Though I do like this type of content! I think we need more sustainable crafty/diy/thrift videos on youtube, and it fits into your ethos, so maybe some useful crafts with natural or recycled materials? I'm planning to learn more hands-on stuff this year, I started woodworking a little last december, and I wanna keep at it, maybe learn some pyrography (wood burning technique!) next, or just more advanced, ornate woodwork!

Fiesty Pisces says:

I feel like she would be so dateable. 😍

Lilly Jacobsen says:

I love your sustainability videos. They are so so helpful! I would love to see more of them. And cooking videos would be great too. Maybe you could test out low waste skincare and makeup products or try making your own? I think those would be cool videos!

Star Dust says:
