I was just about to set up hydro phonics but I don't trust the chemical nutrients. I would much prefer to use this for food production 👍🏼

Taylor Clark says:

You can add more extensions on to it plus they just came out with the herb extensions kit plus!! U can grow indoors or wheel it outside…and isn’t as heavy as this when it’s filled. David Barnes says:

the cost of the soil must out- weight the money you would make from the plants

Richard Jackson says:

Putting a copper wire earthing it to the ground ..earth to earth will help the plants grow better…

She Wolf says:

I like it but i would like to see it in a Terra cotta color

Vlad Koshel says:

I checked a lot of handbooks with woodworking plans. Instructions from woodprix are the best I think.

Rosie Johnson says:

he is giving you a idea not experience you got tonearn that on your own

Tara says:

My goodness! The price of the garden plus all those soil amendments would cost so much it would take YEARS to recoup!

Bethany Oye says:

Can we get a list of all the ingredients going into the soil? It's hard to understand you all the time so it would be very helpful to see a list. Thanks!

varsam says:

He sayd it himself 5 min watering its leaking the nutrians and minerals … well whit that long watering you wash all the food for the plants to the bottom layer. Bad design.

Haji al Kidya says:

In colder climates where it freezes in winter for months what do you do ? Do you have to dump it out or just let it freeze the worms?  Also, I suppose it won't crack the barrel because of the holes in the sides?

Haji al Kidya says:

Too bad we can't use something like this for growing pot? LOL  There must be a great compact growing system for pot.

Haji al Kidya says:

How do you rotate your tower so they all get full sun? I would suggest putting it on a round rotating base that can be easily turned.

Haji al Kidya says:

Your soil is very expensive.

Bradley Buntjer says:

AC DC m/ have a drink on me! LoL you rock

Tyler J. Locke says:

Now that you have had it for several years, are there any long term problems that come up? What are the maintenance issues like? how do you replant or clean and add soil? can you do another video with this same vertical garden answering these questions?

Lotusrk123 says:

Skip to 32:20 to avoid the ultra-complex/expensive, boring procedure of mixing 20 different store bought potting soils and additives. Surely there must be a less involved way of filling a planter. I use 1) potting soil, 2) compost, 3) small amount of worm castings (new bin, few worms), 4)some decomposed manure, and 5) I will soon use my comfrey leaves to aid the compost along (root cuttings on their way from Ireland). If all that isn't good enough ; too bad.

Brenda Penny says:

Holy cow, I wish I lived close enough to buy my potting soil hand made from this guy! He's definitely passionate, I can't picture him ever sitting still unless he's sleeping, lol.

Faliq Isbah says:

Hi… How to keep mosquitoes out of the system especially the fresh water dwelling carriers who spread Yellow Fever / Dengue?

dang dang says:

I've never seen a tower system that let's water drio out the bottom I know you love your hydroponics and like to be environmental but sometimes you talk some shit man I've built my own with a drum like that and it stand on a a quarter drum that holds the water and it has a pump in the base and pump water uo the center pipe and is misted onto the roots and then drios down back into the base drum

kevin burns says:

My dad composted for I don't know how long, but I helped him for 10 years or so and the only thing he ever bought for our garden is lime. I can't believe he spent all the time and money on rock dust.

Metro Renovations & More! says:
