🌱my Sustainability Kit (Philippines) 🌱 / TRYING TO LESSEN MY WASTE

Hello everyone!

The whole “let’s go green” movement is going really strong, and I find the whole movement very inspiring and, well, important. I’m really trying to figure the whole thing out, and creating (and bring my kit around with me) marks as my first step in supporting the cause.

This kit aims to lessen my usage of single use items that are not bio-degradable such as plastic straws and plastic bags. These items actually STAY here on earth for hundreds of years, POLLUTING our oceans. Some of our MARINE LIFE mistake them for food an end up eating these plastic pieces.

I hope this video inspires you to create your own kit (and if you do, please share your must-haves!) so that we can all be part of the greater movement.

Remember that baby steps count! 🙂

Your fellow earthling,

Special thanks to Maria of @verde.mnl (https://www.instagram.com/verde.mnl/ ) for sending me (1) set of Rose Gold Metal Straws! Please join if you are an avid milk tea / coffee drinker and you need your own set.

If you cook/bake a lot, you can use reusable silicon baking mats instead of tinfoil. There are also reusable food wraps that you can get in a variety of patterns and designs instead of using cling film – these are made of beeswax and are more eco friendly. I’d also recommend investing in some bamboo toothbrushes 🙌🏼 Loved your video! Very inspiring! 💕

My reason is for the future generations. Just thinking that one day future kids will not experience good life. And that saddens me the most.
